EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR DERRICK MANN
Pastor Derrick Mann is an experienced Music producer, digital media, and content creator. He has developed several youth and young adult programs across the San Francisco Bay Area over the last 30-plus years. He is responsible for developing templates that organizations such as Youth Uprising (Project YES), media programs for YMCA Oakland, and numerous other after-school programs used to launch their programs.
Pastor Derrick has owned and governed several music studios and facilities that empowered young people, including but not limited to an 8,500 sq. ft. location in Oakland for over 10 years from the early 90s to the mid-2000s.
The above industry plaza was equipped with (10) ten recording studios, a complete printing press, a t-shirt press, a sound stage, an event center with (3) stages, a deck with a waterfall with rocks, and a beach setting with two (15) foot palm trees. Graphics Company, film and editing sweets equipped with green and blue screens, rehearsal halls, and more.
Known artists such as Jay King (Club Nuevo), Dewayne Wiggins (Tony-Toni-Tone), Suga T. (E-40 and the Click), and Money B (Digital Underground) are a few names that frequently utilized the production house.
Pastor Mann has championed many cause-related projects to address issues affecting young people—such as violence, food insecurity, workforce development, etc.

What’s important to us is to eliminate hunger. When there are hungry in the world, we’re going to feed them, and at the same time, we’re going to work on the solution to getting them fed in the long term, creating a global movement of people who believe in this vision.
Our mission
LWOS is a Northern Californian movement supported by people from many walks of life and different backgrounds.
Our mission is to enable people to offer their money, goods, skills, time, or prayer and, through this involvement, provide the most effective help to those suffering the effects of extreme poverty in the world’s poorest communities.
We aim to supply Meals for families, and we believe everyone has something important to contribute to the reduction of hunger in this world in which we live.
