LIVING WATER OUTREACH SERVICES:
ADVOCACY PROGRAM:
LWOS advocates for clients needing support and guidance for people involved in legal issues and substance abuse. We advocate the following tasks:
• Finding and accessing appropriate treatment and recovery services for substance abuse and mental health problems.
• Navigating the complex and often intimidating legal system, such as understanding their rights, filing paperwork, preparing for hearings, and communicating with lawyers and judges.
• Advocating for their best interests and needs in court, such as requesting alternatives to incarceration, diversion programs, or reduced sentences.
• Connecting with other resources and services to help them with their personal, social, and financial challenges, such as housing, education, employment, health care, and counseling.
HIGH SCHOOL HIT RECORD
Goals & Objectives
The primary goals and objective for this project are to use High School Hit Record as a conduit along other program components of Living Water Outreach Services (LWOS) 501 (c) (3) — to elevate the social consciousness of school-age young people by addressing the adverse effects of select media-forms and peer influence—their correlation to under-achievement, truancy, and rising high school dropout rates.
Two messages High School Hit Record will help restore are “It’s cool to stay in school” and “Graduates…are trending.” Additional music business opportunities and activities will inspire them to explore careers, prepare for college (including college vocational programs), and earn a degree or certificate to achieve their personal and professional goals to succeed in life.
APPROACH
LWOS and High School Hit Record will accomplish the above objectives through a multifaceted approach by facilitating workshops, special events & activities, public service announcements, partnerships, and collaborations with local school districts, community organizations, and entertainment industry professionals.
While the primary focus will be high school-age students, special events and activities targeting the elementary and middle-school grade levels will be implemented through Assemblies, Concerts, Career days, and Mentorship activities by teens & contestants from High School Hit Record.

F.A.I.T.H (FILM ART IN THE HOOD)
Overview: F.A.I.T.H (Film Art In The Hood) is a program designed to help develop young people using an art performance aspect and employable skills training. We teach songwriting, voice technique, song recording, dance, and introduction to filmmaking, all while creating a behind-the-scenes documentary of them creating a song and music video. FAITH will facilitate its program at Oakland Charter Academy.
OBJECTIVE
Our program aims to equip, empower, educate, and encourage our youth through the power of the creative arts. We aim to use the arts to help these young people understand self-awareness, creativity, entrepreneurial prowess, and healthy life skills.
TOOLS
The primary tools will be student participation and parental and school support. We, the FAITH team, will facilitate the student training with help from our team of industry professionals for student training. Students will participate in the filming of our behind-the-scenes documentary, write and record a song, and perform in the song's music video.
FROM HOOD 2 NIEBORHOOD:

Our Mission is to facilitate events and platforms that convert a “Hood” mindset of division and individualism into a Mindset of Neighborhood and community.
VISION STATEMENT: To produce concerts, platforms, and deliverables facilitated by, with, and for youth and young adults, enabling them to use their skills and talents to build community. These productions will increase ability, positivity, and teamwork to rebuild the communities where they'll live and partake in their newfound healthier living skills.
